I spent my early career working for HM Revenue & Customs before qualifying as a tax consultant in 1990.  Moving back home to Aberdeen I set up my own practice in 1996 and have subsequently built up a wide and varied client base.  I have experience in all accountancy matters for both small and large businesses, personal and company taxation.

 

I have extensive experience of international, offshore tax matters, providing services on both planning and compliance matters.  My existing client base consists of Ex-pats, Seafarers, Divers, non UK residents and landlords.

 

Outside of work I am a private pilot flying out of Inverness Airport.  I am a keen cyclist and enjoy touring around the UK and overseas with my bike and aeroplane. A keen hillwalker, I joined the elite club of Compleatists, having climbed all 282 Munros (Scottish hills above 3000 feet).
